Happenings Around The Green

Glass Hill has been a busy place hosting events as well as welcoming our daily players! In July, Glass Hill hosted the KVF Junior's Tournament. It had a great showing with the number of participants increasing from last year. Kids ranging from ages 10 up to 18 showed up to play in the 2 player scramble. The KVF had some very generous donations that allowed the kids entry fee to be lowered on their end greatly. Matt Kochan headed the event with the help of Ike Coffin and Brian Noggle. Prior to tee off Matt shared with the kids how he got started playing golf and how he helped start the golf program at West Canada Valley School. He also said how golf is a great sport for young people to get involved in because it teachers etiquette, sportsmanship as well as patience. Luke Benedetto & Andrew Jones came in 1st Place for the 2 player scramble and Cam Ludwig for the 9 Hole Individual. Congratulations to all the participants and thank you to The KVF for the events they put on and work they do, Glass Hill looks forward to hosting you all next year!

The Member- Guest Tournament also took place this month on July 16th. There was a great turn out and all that participated had a great time! There were many new hole sponsors as well as generous donations and discounts given to Glass Hill to make the day as successful as it was!
